Hi! I’m Annie, and I’m on a journey. Born and raised in the great state of Kansas, I embarked on culinary school after high school and later worked as a pastry chef in some of the best kitchens in New York City. That led to starting my own bakeshop in Atlanta, Georgia before eventually feeling the desire to get my hands dirty with silver and brass instead of flour and sugar. Enter jewelry metalsmith school in Florence, Italy and the creation of Sonder Goods.
The word Sonder means ‘the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.’ It’s the discovery of these parallel stories that excites me and drives me to create. Every piece in the Sonder Goods collection is named after people and places that have been impactful to me and embodies the notion that all of us, in our collective journeys, are connected.
